Starting with blushes, I’m a big fan of colourful, shimmery blush. So when the warmer months roll around, I get pretty excited to bust out my corals, peaches & vibrant pinks! I love all finishes; matte, shimmer, glitter, you name it!
I’m a big fan of the Benefit boxed powders. I would have to say that Coralista is the most popular. I own 4. Along with Coralista, I have Bella Bamba, Rockateur & Dandelion. Many times have I swatched Coralista at the Benefit counter hoping to one day own it. So when I did my first order through Benefit US website (which is fantastic BTW, save so much money!) I added it to my cart. Coralista is the most gorgeous coral-peachy goodness with a golden sheen.
MAKEUP GEEK BLISS
This was the first Makeup Geek blush I tried. Bliss is a matte orangey-peach which is just perfect. When I have a full on eye going on, I will more than likely reach for this blush because it is so easy to wear. It’s not as pigmented as the other blushes.
Tipsy has a great finish. It’s not matte but not too shiny. It has a lovely sheen to it. It’s probably the brightest out of the ones I chose. Tipsy looks great when I have a tan…and by “a tan” I mean my trusty Bondi Sands 😉
This blush has great pigmentation. It is similar to Bella Bamba from Benefit, definitely has those pinky-reddy tones. You do have to be careful when applying.
BENEFIT BELLA BAMBA
If you’re looking for the perfect watermelon blush, this is it. There’s really no other perfect word to describe it other than watermelon! I find it really brightens up your face, leaves your complexion looking fresh.
MAKEUP GEEK ROMANCE
This is oh so pretty in the pan & on the cheeks. Most people are familiar with NARS blush in Orgasm, well the best way to describe Romance is, it’s like a peachier-orangier version of Romance. Orgasm is quite pink based with golden shimmer where as Romance is peach/orange based with golden shimmer. So pretty!
